San Diego, CA – Fatal Chain Reaction Car Crash near SDSU

A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 8 near San Diego State University in January 2025 resulted in the death of a 43-year-old man.

On the morning of Jan. 26, a pickup truck stalled on the left shoulder of westbound I-8, located just east of the Waring Road off-ramp. That vehicle was struck in the back by a Nissan sedan.
