2008-12-06 20:41:37 +0000	I'm assuming you're asking about military weapons - in which case, I'd break it down to 1) chemical weapons - specifically, nerve and blood agents - they cause 90 to 100 percent fatalities among unprotected targets, as opposed to an average of 50 percent for biological weapons and a range of effectiveness depending on where you are for nuclear weapons ranging from 100 percent to zero. However, nukes have so many disadvantages as military weapons that none have been used in combat since 1945, while the Russians have used chemical weapons in battle intermittently up to and after 2002, when they used an aerosol of 3-methyl fentanyl to end the Moscow Chechen hostage crisis (with over a hundred fatalities and more people in irreversible comas); 2) mines and other antipersonnel bombs, which in their target areas kill very efficiently; 3) fully-automatic pistols, battle rifles and light machine guns - even non-teflon coated bullets can punch through body armor if two or more bullets strike the same spot in close succession.
