Drugs and the us army....?

So, I made a dumbass choice about 2 years ago and did drugs (oxys and weed). I dont have any permanent damages. My school found out, no charges happened, was suspended for the rest of the year. I got clean, No drugs have entered my system since then. The whole thing was kept on the down low, no police involved, no courts, no intent of selling.
I realize how stupid a choice that was on my part, and Im completly clean.
I want to join the army, infantryman. Im wondering if what i did will effect me being able to join.

If you admit to drug use they will ask you how often you used it. If you admit to doing it only a few times they'll allow you to enlist. If you admit to be a habitual user they may disqualify you for drug dependence. It all depends on the magic number you give them (they don't even tell us what that number is) for how many times you used. What you need to make sure is whether or not it was actually put on your record. Even though they may have said it wasn't on your record it's possible that it's there somewhere. I've seen it happen before, with a kid being told nothing would happen but when we ran his record it mentions the charge (although dismissed).

Nah. Just tell your recruiter that you smoked pot a couple of times and listen to what he says about it. You'll see it isn't a big deal.
btw 11b best damn MOS in the world.
