I know a couple people who stayed in contact with their recruiters, even after boot and all that.
I trust my recruiter not to treat me like ****, cause hes a good friend of my brother in law.

I still talk to my recruiter and the other recruiters at the station I enlisted at but they ran a really quality operation and were very professional. they're honest, hard working sailors unlike what stereotypes might suggest. They didn't lie to me once.

Some do....Most don't....depends on what type of person your recruiter is. Mine treats me really good and i trust him.
it has nothing to do with what branch your in as MARINE Poolee up there ^ ^ ^ ^ has stated

Hmm...for me that was a hundred years ago but I recall being treated very well. She and one of the other recruiters attended my graduation from nursing school and arranged to have me take the Oath before my graduating class. Took me to Ft. Hood to help purchase my uniforms (officers don't get uniforms issued - we buy them). Then taught me proper wear so that I wouldn't be totally clueless when reporting to OBC. This was all AFTER signing my contract. They went above and beyond for me IMO.

My brother is in the Army and his recruiter did not treat him badly after he enlisted.

for USMC- HELL NO!!!! my recruiter treats me very well..i like my recruiter, on the other hand, for the Army, Navy, and Air Force, i would think the opposite...

I was never treated poorly by my recruiter, though they did expect much more out of me after I enlisted, things like showing up on weekend mornings to work out, etc.

no me and my recruiter play basketball, workout, and ride on the weekends hes freakin awesome and hes helped me out alot.
