i suppose you could bring her..but you'll be paying out of pocket for everything...you will not receive any sort of housing or extra money for dependents. The army will not even recognize her until she is your wife.

Oops I forgot you can take her some places as long as you or she pays out of pocket for it and if you are anywhere between E-1 and E-4 you WILL be living in the barracks!

No, the Army does not recognize your girlfriend as even existing. If you are not married then you will stay in the barracks. only way around it, is if she chooses to spend her own money living in town, or you get married.

yea if she wants to live off of the economy and you will still be living in th ebarracks so if you want her to sleep over she better not be underage, or your roomate will turn you in and you will get UCMJ action for underage sex. If you wantt o sleep at her place, then you better get to PT on time! You cannot live with her, you have ot maintain a barracks room and if you overseas, you will be payign her ticket for her to get over there with you. She won;t be able to get a job on post so hope you liek being a sugar daddy.

she as a a civilian can move anywhere she darn well pleases. YOU , being single, will be living in the Barracks and will get NO Money to pay for her to move unless you are married and have accompanied orders.
she CANNOT reside with you on base and you cannot reside with her off base.
and of course if you get stationed overseas, she is at the mercy of the tourism laws of that country.

The government won't pay for it. If you are lower enlisted you will be given a barracks room. You can't have overnight guest. You will have to get permission to live off post. Since you are not married you can't collect BAH or BAS. You also have to maintain your barracks room. You come in late they can make you move back in the barracks.
Your first assignment might be overseas in Germany or Korea.

no u cannot.unless u are married, she can accompany u off post or on post.if u are a rank of like e6 and above or officer and above then u are authorized to live off post married or single and receive bah.but if u are living off post with bah from the government, they will frown with u lving off post not married with your girlfriend at their expense.she would have to pay at her own expense to live off post wherever you go.if u can pull off living off post with her and use your bah, then more power to u.but if the government catches u,then u will be in trouble.im not sure how long u two been together or your mindset on marriage, then why not get married if u love her?

Sure you can, to most places, however the 2 of you WILL be paying for it. The army will not pay to move your girlfriend. AND you will not be given BAH to live with her until you are a certain rank and that rank can vary depending on your unit, and how full your barracks are. You can however maintain a room and stay with her in the house or apartment the 2 of you rent. I have known several people who have done it.

Your girlfriend can come if she personally pays her own way over to where you are. If you get permission to live off post, then you can live together. I have seen some units that will let you live off post E-1 to E-4 if you can just tell them where you are going to be living and get it approved, not that hard. My brother is an NCO and he lives with his girlfriend off post.
I actually spent my wedding night in the barracks LOL and it was allowed by the commander that there could be overnight guests, it depends on the unit.

You can bring her anywhere except of course combat zones. Also you will have to pay out of your own pocket to live and move her until you are married.
