Your so wrong!
I hate the people who said it was alright for the innocent lives to be lost in such a stupid war!
And if your statement is true than i would hate my brother!
Do i hate him? NO! I love him so much and for him to be over in Iraq was the worst time of my life i couldn't even enjoy my birthday as the day before he wrote us a letter to say his base had just been bombed and one of his friends was shot in the neck and killed!!! He went into this war leaving his wife and 5 month old boy at home not knowing if he will ever see them again!
He is the bravest man i have ever met and i hate it when people write stuff like this and don't get there facts straight first!

I think the people who believe you are an idiot are right.
But I don't believe you are right.
I'd suggest finding another church and truly accepting the lord.

You so funny...I've been in the navy for the last 10 years and know a lot of troops that find the war in Iraq wrong. I know quite a few that spoke out about how wrong it was and got slapped down for it. We knew that it was poorly planned and too rosy. When the former head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff went before congress and told them that we needed more than twice the number of troops than what Rumsfeld said, he was forced out a year early.
We support the troops then and now. What we don't support are the lies and the mistakes that got us into this mess.
THe only ones who hate and embolden the terrorists are the ones all for the war and show an unflagging support to an Administration that still supports a failing foreign policy.

My husband and I are OEF and OIF vets, and we don't support the war. We don't hate ourselves for not supporting the war. But if someone shoots at me, of course I am going to shoot back.

It wrong for you to think that people that do not support the Iraq war hate our troops, besides why should our troops be hated or blamed, they are only following orders.
I'm not sure that, after carefully thinking about your question, you are an idiot or just plain stupid.

...truly believe that schools should teach intelligent design.
...actually think that the war in Iraq will keep us safe from Osama Bin Ladden.
...think that homosexuals marrying will destroy our nation.
...still believe that Saddam hid the WMDs.
...don't understand that you can love the troops and hate the war.
Get a clue idiot!

No.. you have to look at it from all points of view.. just because someone doesn't support the idea of war does not mean that they are anti-American or that they hate the troops. The men and women who serve our country should be commended and applauded for the work they do to keep our country a safe and free one. It's not about the troops themselves but more about the war itself. War isn't always the best answer.. it fact it rarely is.

Too much of a pronk and too young to know what Viet Nam looked like.
you do not deserve an answer because your question has no merit--your argument is too broad-based--that's like me saying that since you hate monkeys chewing on your ear, you also hate PUPPIES.

I believe that the war in Iraq should not continue. That doesn't mean that I hate our troops. It means that I hate our current president. I wish that all our soldiers would come home already and that we (the US) should stay out of other countries problems. I have a brother in the military, do you think I want to see him go to a war that is pointless? I bet you don't even dislike Bush, do you?

I have not heard that at all. You couldn't be farther from truth. Many people are against the war, but support the troops. Most people I know want the troops to come home. They don't see it as anti-support. Folks just want the troops home safe and sound.

You are totally wrong!!!
It's not THEIR stupidity that either got them there or keeps them there!
And your statements show an insensitivity and stupidity that is staggering! This supposedly is still a country that allows freedom of speech and opinion, and not backing the a s s in the White House is part of that!!!

You are so wrong on many levels.
You can definately be sympathetic and support our military service people without believing a war is just. Blinding following what your government tells you is how Nazi senarios arise.
If our forefather's were all like you we'd still be an English colony.

Anti-war usually doesn't mean anti-troops. The troops are serving their country, but the government is exploiting a group of patriotic and brave individuals. The nature of the Armed forces is that they have to do what the government tells them to, but I believe that right now the government is taking advantage of the troops who have made tremendous sacrifices.
That's the way I explin myself: Pro-troops and anti-commander-in-chief.

People who question the war don't hate our troops. Heck, they may be trying to save the troops' lives or spare them from fighting a very possible unwinable war.

Nonsense. People are still entitled to hold opinions contrary to the government position in this country. Many many people support the troops but think the war was a mistake. One way of supporting the troops is working to get them back home as soon as possible, with as few casualties as possible.

Wanting to keep the troops ALIVE by not sending them into a senseless war is "hating the troops"? What a very strange twist of logic. Whether or not you agree with the protestors, you cannot charge them with blatantly trying to endanger the troops when in fact, they're concerned with keeping them alive. Are you suggesting that it's somehow better for the troops to turn them into cannon fodder?

You're entitled to your beliefs.
Those particular beliefs you've quoted are delusional, irrational, hugely generalized, and incorrect when applied to the vast majority of people.
But you are entitled to believe whatever you want.
