My husband is deployed and refusing to give me any support. What can I do?

§♦ QueenEl ♦§	Be careful when you go. as as stated earlier you can and WILL get the help you need. Are you in contact with him, if so let him know that you are asking again for support and if he then refuses, save any contact you have made, be it a recording of a phone call or letter that he answered about support and let him know you will be contacting his commander about the spousal support situation. Perhaps then he will comply,Because of this complaint to his commander he might/will lose rank,finances and perhaps some incarceration, and he does not want that.. As I said earlier be careful and please do it with class. I am an ex-army wife and I have seen such situations as yours many many times doing it with class is really the best way to go. so watch what you say and do during these procedures make sure you are truthful and have all paperwork on your marriage and where you lived TOGETHER before he was deployed. Jane Marple	How does he not support you? You mean financially? When my husband was deployed I had access to our joined accounts in which his pay continued to be deposited and on his end he was getting extra cash to spend by the army. He did not need to withdraw anything. Why you don't have access to the bank account? ADD: She needs to contact the family support/social services on the base and they will guide her. They will help her with her immediate needs but they won't give her access to the bank account. I do hope she's planing on leaving this man. What kind of father would do something like that! Because James, when your husband doesn't support you, it's tough for the guy back home when the husband won't support him. Right James? It's tough when your husband won't support you. bill b	James... I'm not sure the military will recognize a marriage between two men. Since chances are good the two of you don't have any children in common, I suggest you work and provide for yourself. In the meantime, you might want to examine your relationship with this man. If you're supposed to maintain a home that he intends to occupy when he returns from deployment, it would seem logical that he offer you a few $ to help.
