This is a touchy subject for many, I am friends with whom I want and no man will tell me what to do !
There should be trust in a relationship and it should not be # dictatorship #
If the husband does not trust you enough ? Then it is worthless !

The details matter.
If you flip gender-roles and he was trying to tell her what friends she can have, he would be called 'controlling'.

Only if you and your ex have children together.
Otherwise, not really appropriate if you're married.

Who do you love?
Your ex is your ex for a reason.
Make up your mind.
If your spouse says"please do not be friends with your ex" than you should respect that. Think about how you would feel if it was you and the shoe was on the other foot.
Is your ex worth you losing your new love?
Ask yourself that and than you will have your true answer

Only if you want dumped. Its disrespectful. There is no reason to have any more contact then hello and goodbye or talk about custody or school issues with kids.Being friends with the ex is a deal breaker with most men and alot of women.

Not if it makes your spouse uncomfortable. In the end, you have to weigh out what you value more: The good nature of the relationship with your ex, versus the good nature of the relationship with your spouse.

There's no way in hell that is ok. I would consider that in someway cheating. It doesn't matter if you're having sex or not. It's still wrong.
You are lying to your wife and going behind her back to see other women in secret. Please don't tell me you seriously think that is ok.
