would trespassing misdemanor effect employment?
i was arrested with shoplifting wich was not me i was with my friends they took staff and i did not know about it so thats why my charge was redused to trespassing and in 3 years that is going to be dissmised wich 3 years its this june 2008. i am trying toi apply for different job would this effect my oppurtunities with new employers. please advice!

If it is not a felony you do not have to tell prospective employers.

If an employer ever asks during the interview process if you have ever been charged or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor - then you have to say yes. Then they'll ask for an explanation and give you the old "case by case scenerio." This may be a bigger issue at a bank - but thank your lucky stars that it wasn't for shop lifting - that would be a large problem in the financial service industry. Good luck, and don't let this keep you from applying.
