I work as a bus aide in the afternoons for a school district. We go to two schools and it takes about one hour and thirty minutes to complete and be back at the bus barn. They are only paying me $9 for the entire hour and half. Minimum wage here in Texas is $7.25 an hour. I would think they would have to pay me more by law. Because if you divide 1.50 into $9, it would equal to $6 an hour.....does anyone know how this would work? Thanks for your help.
