Does this mean you cannot get into work because you have not got a lift ?
If so, use public transport like 1000's of others.
My job involved a 3 hr commute there and 3 hr commute home...exhausting as it was a Nurses position but I never missed work once !!
If you have no way to get to the job you need to either quit or prepare to be terminated. In either case, in the US, you will not receive unemployment benefits. It will look better to future employers if you quit as opposed to just not showing up any more.
