I have a cousin who is a lawyer who specializes in everything..he lives in india..i am studying to become a MA and one of the things we staudies was Civil Law..my cousin replied to my email saying "laws in india are different than those in the U.S." now i feel really humiliated by asking him..i thought maybe since he specializes in civil law, he might be able to help me a little..can someone send me their opinion..he might be mad at me for asking him..

Some people think that their time is just more important than anyone else's.
I was in a similar situation when my son' doctor gave me her cell when she left the practice. She said that if I needed her then call anything, but when I did (because my son was diagnosed with a deadly disease) she acted like she had no time to help.

Of course not, but you should understand his answer.
Just read all the posts here, with people asking general questions about the law, and you will find most of the answerers remind everyone that the law is different in different places. It's different in each of the different States in the U.S.
A lot of people don't realize that, so you have nothing to be embarrassed about. You just learned something, that's all.
