Believe it or not, the fact that you feel so bad about it, is a good sign! It means that your conscious is working.

I think that you should go back into the bank and hand it over and say that you are sorry! Even if you are laughed at, at least, you will feel better with yourself. It might just stop you from doing something even worse next!

Once the deed is done, take a deep breath and don`t let yourself dwell on it, unless, you have the urge again!

We have all been there, but it is the one who recognises that he/she did wrong, that will end up being a good person.

You never know, you might just be surprised and pleased with the reaction you get!

I wish you the best.

haha they will DEFINATELY come after you. they're very extremely tight on money and can't afford another pen at all. they saw you on the camera. they know you took it. turn yourself in now, before it's too late!

just kidding, don't worry about it.

Best to surrender yourself - and the pen - before they check all the cctv recordings and come around to your house - to nab you - about 6am - with BBC, ITN & Sky cameras - and reporters from the Sun & Daiiy Mail. The pen is mightier than the sword - so if you want to avoid the risk of stealing and retaining a dangerous weapon I'd suggest you make a clean breast of it -
and get to your nearest Police Station asap.
The cops will love you - for helping to reduce crime and increase their arrest-rate statistics.
So why delay ? Worst you'll get is a month's community service.

hey I know the cops would much rather hassle petty offenders than real criminals, but get over it. they'd have to arrest nearly everyone in the country if they came after you for that.

Yeah, they're going to get you dude because you were so duh brained as to take only one. Most banks have free pen dispensers in the UK now and greedy people take up to about twenty at a time.......

I had £600 worth of photography equipment stolen from my car, they didn't even bother to persue that. I don't think they're going to be bothered about a cheap nasty pen from the bank!

Chill out, no worries!

Where's your courage man!!

Get yourself up to a bedroom window with a high powered rifle and start yelling...'You'll never take me alive Cop!!' out of the window.

If you feel you must actually fire the rifle, wait until a chav comes along.

I just hope 'Blenkinsop of the Natwest' doesn't get given the case!!!!!!!

Perhaps in your case, crime does pay. In your first caper, it appears you were successful- since 24 hours went by. This time you were fortunate.

It's too late now, you're officially a wanted person, dead or alive. The best thing do is go the whole hog. Go on a pen thieving spree and live everyday like it's your last.

Yes, this is a very serious crime and the only deserved punishment is a death sentence. You might want to try and escape to Mexico, but the airports will be looking for you already.
