2009-02-12 04:50:33 +0000	This is a problem that happens a lot in high school. An over protective parent causing problems. However it could be that she isn't just trying to protect her son, maybe she knows her son and is afraid of some bad choices he might make with you. Choices that could ruin your futures. Or maybe she is just being a b***h. Either way very few high school relationships go the distance these days. My advise would be not even to bother. Even if you really like the guy, this is rarely a hugh problem when you get into an adult relationship and mothers and father hold a lot less sway in there children's love life. Or you could sit down with him and discuss the issue, and then go with him to discuss the issue with his mother to see if you can come to an agreement. Ultimately, you should respect her decision since she is the parent and he is her son, but she may just respect you for coming to her like an adult with the issue and discussing it.
