why someone is in prison...?
right,i'm from the uk.
And my step dad is in hospital.
Their is this guy on his ward who's in hospital but is like in prison.
Some thing happend with him and hes now on the ward. he's got this 2 guys with him all the time and is handcuffed.
And they won't tell us what hes done to be in prison.
So i was wondering if their is any way of finding out.

They can't tell you because it is an invasion of privacy, the same thing happened to my cousin when she was in the hospital and that's what the nurse told us.
i think all you need is his name to do an inmate search. like in NC you can type anyone's name in the NC dept. of corrections website and will get free info about the crime that the person was found guilty of and how much time there were sentenced how much longer they have etc. some even have pics.
I can't say for sure in the UK, but in the US it is a simple matter of looking his name up on his state's DOC website. Such information is public domain, however, the officer's guarding him are not authorized to speak about such matters to the public. Their job is the protection of the public and divulging that information around the inmate may well incite him to act out.
