is parole officer a dangerous job?
i know cops are dangerous because you alwayas have to watch out for criminals resisting arrest and killing you and corrections officer, those inmates might get violent on you but what about parole officer or bailiff

In addition to the above good answers you should know this you may apply for a job as a parole officer



But a bailiff position is usually appointed by the court

It depends on how you treat your parolees. If you treat them sub human then I could see it being very dangerous.

It can be. If a parolee objects to a restriction put on them by his parole office, the parolee may taken violent action because of it. It really depends on the circumstances.

A bailiff is generally a pretty quiet position but any time you are dealing with criminals, you take the risk that the criminal may take action because of the situation. If you don't have the stomach for it, I would suggest you think of another line of work other than criminal justice or corrections.

Yes, it can be a very dangerious job. You are basically going to the homes of murders and drug dealers to check up on them, and in many states you are not allowed to carry a gun.

Bailiff is a fairly quite job. Mostly just keeping order in the court and the occasional psycho.
