2010-01-14 22:36:06 +0000	Im in college for criminal Justice, i dropped out of high school and went back for my GED, then started college. I want to become a homicide detective. It was a lot easier then i thought to get my GED, and what i learn in college is very interesting. Police officers with Just a GED make only about 40,000 a year, but the higher education you get the more money you will make. You could start off with just your GED as a police officer and work your way up, because a lot of police departments after you work for them will pay for you to go to college and work your way up...Good Luck. 2010-01-14 22:33:30 +0000	I have to mention that officer's have to communicate effectively through written reports and during your G.E.D studies I certainly hope you focus on the English language. 2010-01-14 22:30:35 +0000	you have to have a degree, pass a series of tests, but judging from the asshole, idiot cops we have in this country, it's not hard at all. you dont even have to be physically fit, you don't have to care about people and it's the only job where you can illegally beat someone to death and get away with it.
