how do i find someone thats been paroled?
trying to find my uncle that ive never met, found out he was in folsom prison, but was paroled last year. I need an address or phone number. can the corrections ppl give me an address or is that not legal?
Well, since you have never met your Uncle, I do not know why you want to meet him now. The Parole Officer knows where he is, but because of privacy laws, he cannot hand out this information to everyone who calls him on the phone. You could hire a Private Investigator to find him but that is a bit expensive. I would just call the Parole Officer or the department and give them your name and number. They will probably think you are an old girlfriend, so you might explain that you are a family member and you want to contact him as a relative passed away. Bye..
Ask the Prisons Auhtority what were his parole condition and they will know which Police station he has to report to periodically - this may be privileged information (Privacy) but... be nice they may take a message for him...
i think they may be able to pass on a message for him to contact you but i am sure they would not give his address out, as you could be anybody, and he could be exposed in a way that may not be in his best interest.
