You can't do that until you are 18, become legally emancipated, or have permission from your parents by way of them signing over guardianship of you to someone who will take responsibility.

Why, what's wrong? Running away is legal in some places and not in others, but I think to legally leave you have to get emanciapted or something, I dunno!

Unfortunately because of your age both answers below are correct. You either have to emancipate yourself from your parents with a very good lawyer and a strong reason to declare your ability to be independent or you have to have your parents permission fully drawn out in writing which should also go through a lawyer to avoid any state technicalities which do exist.

yes, you go to a law office and legally emancipate yourself. then you can move out. of course, if you don't want to be officially on your own, just get the go ahead from your parents. you will be fine.
