If your buying on line U need a FFC or any gun shop will have it sent to them for a small fee.
There is a waiting period for buying a hand gun unless U have a concealed license permit.Get a 40 or 45acp.
I carry a Kimber 45acp great pistol.

And good luck finding that Glock 18 as there were only a few in the US in '86.
There are others tho' that will do.
The Beretta 98(?) would also be a rare one to find and well worth hanging onto. Again if you could find one.

You do not need an FFL to purchase a handgun, but you must be at least 21, answer all questions on form 4473,provide photo ID, and have an instant check, background check performed. ATF/FBI will confirm if you may purchase, be delayed , or denied. The only need to have an FFL is to commericially sell, distribute, and buy weapons for that purpose, and to make legal weapons tranfers.

A FFL license is for dealing firearms, not buying them. You don't need a license to buy a gun. You have to fill out forms, submit to a background check, and wait your states required waiting period.
Side note: Why would you want a Glock? They are plastic and unreliable. Get yourself a SigSauer, Kahr, or USP.

Fill out the appropriate forms, submit to a background check, & get fingerprinted. If ya pass all the tests it'll cost you around $200 for a FFL.
