I got a 256 dollar speeding ticket being an idiot its my first one and I believe my 30 days is up today (Saturday) or tomorrow, I had to wait to get all the money and just remember the courthouse is closed on weekends what will happen?! I have to pay it Monday but ill be late what's gonna happen?!
If you don't pay it or show up to court by the court date at the bottom of the citation, you will be issued a "Failure to Appear" warrant for your arrest, but that can easily be cleared up by talking to the court house.
If you knew you needed to get all the money and needed time, all you had to do was call the court house and ask for an extension.
Your ticket wouldn't be due on a weekend and if it is you have until the following Monday to pay it. If it was due today, you will have to pay an additional amount on the ticket. If you couldn't come up with the money sooner you should have gotten an extension on the ticket.
