Possibly.
First: Your age. If you are under 21 then ANY alcohol in your system can get you arrested.
Second: The BAC limit in your state.
Third: Your weight
Fourth: Your gender. Males and females process alcohol at different rates.
Fifth: your metabolism.
Sixth: The time lapse between when you have that beer and when you start driving.
The odds are, probably not. But, again, it's possible given the right combination of events.
Here's a fun site to play around with that your BAC would be after a certain number of drinks.

That depends on your weight and metabolism. I know people that would blow a .08 after a single 12 oz. beer but they are rare.

Depends. If you are under 21 then yes. If not then it would depend on how much you weigh, your metabolism and how long you wait after you drink.
If you weigh 100 lbs you would need about 2 1/2 drinks to hit the legal limit of .08% See http://www.drunkdrivingdefense.com/general/bac.htm

That is unlikely. The general rule is one drink an hour and three in an evening.
One 12 oz beer is not enough to raise you blood alcohol to levels that would warrant you getting a DUI.

It depends on when you drank the beer and how you drank it. If you slam it down and then get stopped a few minutes later it is possible that a breathalyzer will read high enough for you to get that DUI.
If you pop the top at 6:00 p.m. and take about an hour to drink the beer, then your BAC should be below the standard DUI level of .08.
There are other factors as well -- height, weight, when you last ate, if you are fatigued, etc.
Best rule of thumb -- don't drive for at least an hour after each 12 ounce of beer, 1 oz of the hard stuff, or 3 oz of wine: The average person will metabolize that much alcohol in an hour.

Yes, within first hour of drinking it IF you are over 21 yrs. old. One 12 oz beer, one shot of whiskey= same alcohol content. Liver needs 1 hour to oxidize that amount of alcohol. Under age 21 legal limit is .02 as opposed to .08 for adults. Only time can erase alcohol from your body-----ONE HOUR PER ONE OUNCE OF ALCOHOL CONTENT (1 hr per 12 oz beer, 1 hr per glass of wine, 1 hr per shot of whiskey). My geographical locale has stiff penalties for DUI and I have no pity at all for the reject that chooses to drink, drive and kill someone. I love to party, but do it at home or have a RESPONSIBLE designated driver!!!!!!! Every life has value to at least one person. Check you local government website to find out what each city or county says. More importantly, be responsible-- the life you save may be your own.

Any amount of alcohol is enough to get charged with a DUI if the cop thinks it impairs your ability to drive. You won't get charged with having a BAC over 0.08% but you can still be charged with DUI.

If it impairs your driving. DUI does not really mean that you were driving drunk. It means you were driving under the influence of something that made your driving dangerous to others. It could be a beer. It could be benadryl that makes you sleepy. The point is that it hindered your driving and put others at risk.

That depends on a couple of things:
1. If you are underage, you may be subject to a "zero tolerance" law in your area which means that ANY amount of alcohol in your system can get you arrested.
2. Your body mass. The smaller you are, the less it takes to make your BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) measure higher.
3. How much you've had to eat recently. If you haven't eaten in 8-10 hours, smaller amounts of alcohol will cause greater effects.
4. Have you given blood today? Blood donations reduce the amount of blood in your system which means alcohol will have a greater effect on you.
In general, if you are not underage, one beer normally will not be enough to make you over the limit. However, if you get pulled over and the officer smells the alcohol, that does give them probable cause to conduct FSTs (Field Sobriety Tests).

Depends on your Blood Alcohol level. If you are a small skinny person, I`m sure 1 beer would be enough to put you over the limit
