No. A moving violation is more like...an accident.
A speeding ticket is generally not considered a moving violation though. If you aren't sure, ask.

If you pay your ticket .. you are basically admitting that you were in the wrong and speeding ..
if you contest it in court .. even if you lose ... they will lower the fine. Also, if the officer that gave it to you doesnt show .. then they drop the case and the ticket and you don't have to pay.
Just be sure you have an actual story to tell with specifics about the day and other drivers around you .. if you decide to contest

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yes it is a moving violation and yes when you pay you are admitting guilt. Luckily the only thing this affects is the point system on your drivers license and your consideration for insurance.

As opposed to a parking violation, a speeding citation is a moving violation. You are not convicted (found guilty) until the Judge says so. If you pay the fine, then you are admitting guilt.

Yes, a speeding ticket is a moving violation. Non-moving violations are like parking, where the car wasn't being driven.
If you pay the fine, that is the same as pleading guilty or being convicted.

A speeding ticket is a moving violation. Paying the fine is an admittance of guilt, which is why you have the option of appearing before a judge to plead your case.

Paying the fine is admission of guilt. Pleading not guilty and losing in court is being guilty. Either way, you have been convicted of a moving offence.

Any laws pertaining to a vehicle on a roadway would be a moving violation.
If you pay the fine, the court will find you guilty, and a conviction entered on your driving record.
