If your first test comes back positive, it will be used as a baseline for subsequent testing. Advise your PO that you were smoking prior to conviction and you might fail the test. The PO will administer tests on a more frequent basis after that and will be looking for raised THC levels. Stay clean from here on and you should be fine.
