I have trouble submitting during drug test at probation?

I'm on probation in TX and expected to submit for UA's every couple of months. I always have problems doing this because of my age, medication, etc... It doesn't matter how much fluid I've had before the test. They've started a new rule, 2 failed attempts is considered a refusal. You have to start coming in weekly for 6 weeks. This happened to me last week. There isn't an alternate form of submitting such as hair or blood. How can they do this? My charge wasn't even for drugs. Should I talk to an attorney?

Yes, you should get outside support. Even a note from your doctor would be enough for them to not see two failures to produce a sample as a refusal. You're on meds and have a history of not being able to pee on demand - I'm sure you're not the first person they've come across with this problem. Perhaps tell them yourself that you are on meds and find it hard, they should take that on board.

This is BS, and you and I know it. Your PO/jurisdiction is more lenient than me/mine. If you can't produce a urine specimen within an hour, I will arrest you and petition to revoke your probation. Talk to an attorney, that is your right.
Nice try, but it won't fly.

You can talk to an attorney if you want to, but you signed a form agreeing to the conditions of the probation when you accepted it.
If you don't want to stick to the terms, you can always just serve the whole sentence.
