I Fear For My Life If This Murderer Goes Free???PLEASE HELP?
My best friend was shot 5 times after we came from a party. He knows exactly who did it his neighbor. The guy is in jail and their trial will start after 1 year. They have no weapon but my friend survived and he is his own witness. The boy has someone lying for him saying he wasnt around the night it happened lying for him. My friend wants me to lie and say I saw him when i dropped him off because he is scared this man will get out. He even put my cousin in it as a witness and she remembers nothing. I am scared this guy may get out and see me in court and will come after me. My friend said i have to go to court or i can go to jail. i dont wanna face this murderer and his family i dont even know how he looks if i lie i will go to jail He told me I have to go to court and I am angry because I don't even know this murderer Never Seen Him He thinks Im not being a Real Friend
My friend said all i have to say is i saw the shooter that night and there is no way they will catch me in a lie because he has a picture of him. I am so stressed I have children and I fear for my family. This guy is heartless and I have to face him when i don't know what happened or how he looks. No. You will be a perjurer if you lie under oath. You could actually go to prison if they prove you're lying.
If the guy is in jail, it's likely the police have more evidence than you think, and believe he really did it. Not to mention, he has no reason to come after YOU if you don't lie to get him convicted.
You can't lie in court- they'll catch you in it and your friend will look all the more guilty
Also, Even though your friend has a pic of him that still won't help his case- he needs to find rock solid evidence that this asshole did it, not some other asshole. They cannot supina you if you didn't see anything. Your friend needs to get one hell of a good lawyer otherwise this guy will be free.
The only other thing I can think of is to have someone in jail kill him... maybe try to spread it around the jail that he molested children, the inmates will take care of him from there :)
