How do you know if someone placed a no contact order on you?

Hey, so my girlfriend was recently kicked out of her dads and since she moved back into her grandmas house, she already has/is going to put a no contact order on me from my girlfriend. Me and my girlfriend have been together for a year and to hell and back. Our relationship is very healthy, just her grandma is against gay people and hates me for a burning passion.
So my question is, how do you know if some one has put a no contact order on you?
And is there any way to remove the contact order?
I know that I have to go to court, but my mom cant do that because she cant afford to take a day off of work (I'm only 16) but if I have my facts straight, she would for the sake of our relationship.
Also I understand that if we violate the no contact order, that one of us will be sent to the juvi detention center. If I'm wrong, PLEASE CORRECT ME.

Court orders require notice to you and a hearing. If the order was an emergency order, then you still have to be told and you have a right to a hearing later on. If you "don't know" then there's probably no order. Just do what you Mom tells you to do and neither of you should have any problem.

the usual process is for the order to be issued and for a cop or private service to walk up to you and say "here you've been served" . When in doubt stay away and respect the wishes of others.

You should be be ashamed to think you or your "girlfriend" have the right to force her grandmother to accept your perverted relationship. If it is her house, she should be able to make the rules she feels comfortable with, and she should not need a "no contact" order. You should respect her right to deny you access to her home, and if her granddaughter doesn't like it, she needs to find another place to live.
As far as knowing if there is a no contact order in force, call the Police Dept. or the Court Clerk's Office. Or, you could make contact and if the Police show up on your doorstep, then you know.
Also, if my girlfriend decided to move into a home where I was not allowed, it would be a clear message that maybe she didn't want to see me any more, but that's just me.
