okay, i am seventeen as of September 20, 2010. my boyfriend is 15 as of march 25, 2010. we are having a baby next month, in October. and people have been saying i could go to jail for this. His parents aren't charging me with any kind of rape crimes. and then other people are telling me the age of consent for the state of Georgia changed to 14 years of age, and no longer 16. and that if we are not 2 years apart, there is nothing to worry about.

thank you, and we did wear a condom... AND i was on birth control. the worst part is, since i don't have regular periods, i didn't know i was pregnant. until last Sunday. i literally looked like i was just putting on weight. and congratulations for her.

Not sure about the Georgia state laws. There's no way you could go to jail though, seeing as you're both minors.
Some advice though - have him wear a condom next time! You're only 17! My aunt gave birth at 40 after having accomplished much in life and traveled around the world. Now how difficult will it be for you to do that?

Yes you can:
The age of consent in Georgia is 16 as specified by Section 16.6.3 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
Also stated in the Criminal Code of Georgia 16.6.3 subsection (c), if a person is "at least 14 but less than 16 years of age and the person convicted of statutory rape is 18 years of age or younger and is no more than four years older than the victim, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."
