I owe 5000 dollars to an insurance company for an accident I was in where I hit their client. I damaged their bumper causing 1000 in damages. 2 months after the accident they went to the doctor and had 4000 in medical bills that they now claim I have to pay for. Isn't 2 months after the accident too late to go to the doctor and be able to have me pay for it?
Most states have a statute of limitations of 2-3 years for injury claims, so 2 months is still well within the time that an injury claim can be presented
