Once you meet her face to face, you can file I-129 Petition so that she can apply K1 Fiance Visa at US Embassy once your petition is approved by USCIS. She will get interview at US Embassy to make sure that she is not marrying you to get green card. Once it is approved, she comes to US on K1 and you two get married. After the marriage, she has to file Adjustment of Status with your Affidavit. 2010-09-08 07:01:34 +0000	Talk to paul to start with. they will square you away on what goes on and what the process for a fiance or spousal visa will be for you. they offer more than just paperwork services also, maybe you should look into those services peace of mind is a priceless thing you do know that at some point in time you will need to meet her in person before any paperwork at all can be start don't you??? a lot of hoops to jump through for the girl also, birth certificates, embassy interviews, doctors visits, just sayin, cuz its a lot of time and money so ya want to BE VERY SURE OF WHAT YOUR GETTING YOURSELF INTO !!! I started the process with my wife in March of 2004 and she had her visa to come to the US in December of that year, with her gaining her citizenship about two weeks ago (she's also from the Philippines).
