If i get married to an American citizenhere in my homeland of Jamaica how do i become a citizen too?
I met a man online and we fell in love and we want to get married so we can be close to each other. He is coming here to Jamaica and we plan on getting married but we do not know the outcome yet. All we know is that if we get married i can come to America with my son. But, my question is how do we do that? After we get married what do we do?

After getting married, US Citizen then your husband has to file I-130 for you and your son respectively. Once that is approved it will be forwarded to National Visa center so that they can send documents and instructions to your husband, you and US Embassy in Jamaica.
You have to apply CR1/CR2 Immigrant Spouse visa for you and your son and do medical exam. Once you get approved at the interview you will get immgirant visa to enter US. After you enter US your green card will be mailed to your US Address as a proof of US Permanent Resident. It will take close to 1 year until you get to enter US.

After you get married, your future husband will have to file a petition to bring you and your son to the U.S. He will have to prove that your marriage was in good faith and that he did not marry you just so you could come to the U.S.You will have to submit pictures of you guys together, joint financial statements, a house you 2 might have purchase together, etc.
He will also have to prove that he can support you and your son financially. After all that paperwork is processed, you guys will go for an interview where they will ask questions to make sure the marriage is legit. If you are approved, you will be given a green card that lasts for 2 years. After 2 years, you will have to submit more documents proving that you 2 are still married and then they will finally send you a permanent green card.
You can apply for U.S. citizenship 3 years after receiving your first green card.
Good luck!

It may take about a year to obtain the necessary immigrant visas. After marriage he should submit a
separate petition for you and the child who will qualify as a stepchild if under age 18. The forms an more information here: http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/New%20Structure/3rd%20Level%20(Left%20Nav%20Children)/Resources-3rd%20level/How%20Do%20I%20Guides/A1en.pdf

No, you do not become an American citizen.
No, you can't travel with your husband to the US.

After you got married, your husband travels home alone and then files a petition for immediate relative for you. He has to provide an affidavit of support, showing his income, tax returns, and he has to be of good moral character. Once that's done, he will file a CR-1 visa for you and your son. Once that is approved, you will have an interview in Jamaica. If that's passed, you will be allowed to travel to the US.
The whole thing costs about a thousand Dollars and takes several months.

When you are actually married, you will have to apply for an immigration visa with your son. You can do that at the American Consulate in Kingston. The process is slow and you can be involved in background checks and the like, but most spouses are allowed entry unless they have a criminal background.
In the mean time, visit the Consulate and get information on the process.
Good luck!
