GerdP	Don't listen to commercial websites which provide poorly researched information. Two countries named by the previous answerer are not even member of the Schengen agreement, the latest joining country is missing. To get information about visa for Germany in India [that's where the question was asked] consult the website of the German Embassy in Delhi for detailed information. I could have provided more detailed information if you would have added the purpose of the visa and the Indian state you are residing in. We really would appreciate if asker provide detailed information on their questions as required by the Y!A TaC's.
