The Dark Side	Only British citizens can have a passport. As with any country, it only issues passports to its citizens - for one thing, a passport is proof of citizenship. That is why you have found nothing. You need to become a British citizen FIRST. Maggie	You won't find details of how to apply for a passport on the UKBA website as it's a different department that deals with passport applications. Before you can get a British passport, you must become a British citizen. If you have a spouse visa, you must live in the UK for two years and still be married and living with your UK spouse before you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
