kelly_f_1999	nope cause im in a turnning lane i can only turn one way so why does one need to know im turn if im in turning lane if im turning into a drive or parking lot yes if im switching lanes on freeway yes if exiting no if entering yes really if one is in a turning lane doesnt make much since evryone in lane wil be turning same way you could have right blinker on and turn left wil work just as well.. i only use mind when im switching lanes or turnning into a street or drive way where one has to slow down best way to use them all the time but really doesnt have to be always more of comom sense dont use them and could be hit Was this answer helpful to you? logicalgal	You have turn signals, brake lights,reverse lights, running lights, headlights and high/low beams on your vehicle. These are intended for vision and communication. Whenever you intend to make a turn, turning on your signal light eliminates any question as to what you intend to do. The answer is YES, you should. Its a habit which you should develop! Something which does occur at times, is that a driver may forget to turn OFF his/her signal light after a lane change, and if oncoming toward you, MAY APPEAR to be making a left turn, when in fact, continues straight through the intersection. When driving, never assume anything about another driver's intentions, and make sure the other driver knows what your intentions are. Develop good habits out there and survive each trip you take!
