Ouenis	Those who group Americans as fat and ignorant, are at least as ignorant. I don't know if anyone watched the Olympics this year, but it seems to me we still have a couple world class athletes. We are not all war mongers either. If you listen to politically inspired American music, other than *** * sellout "Patriotic" country stars (cough Toby Keith cough), it shows a little more how people feel. I don't know if you noticed, but the general level of satisfaction with the government among American people is not high right now, and a lot of that has to do with the corrupt, selfish, bullies our GOVERNMENT has been. The frustration comes when people start losing their families to war. Instead of being against the war, they turn their hate toward those who killed their loved ones. Everyone is all butt-hurt about this Iraq situation. The people of Iraq, for the most part seem to appreciate what we are doing. Obviously if you arrest someone's son, husband and/or brother, they will be upset with you, even if they were involved in combatant activity. No different than us wanting to "Nuke 'em," when we lose a loved one. People asking these questions about "Could we invade so and so?" are not necessarily saying we should, they're sparking conversation about military strength based on current political tensions. I guess it's unexpected though, seeing how Americans are completely incapable of intellectual conversation. And... What if they nuke us before we even think of nuking them? As soon as one nuke is fired, its all over. I don't know if you think all of our nukes are together and they're going to hit ours or what, but we would not be incapable of firing back. I have to admit i personally have liked the very few americans i've met, but what kind of american does it take to come live in england? probally not your average one :-) I think america is just stuck in a bubble, eventually its going to pop and the republican voters writing in this forum will probally be far less aggressivly vocal. America is far from invincible, no nation or empire has ever had that status, or ever will. and compared to past contenders i'm afraid the USA is rather meak in comparison. To answer the question, we don't think we need to invade everyone but at the same time we are not afraid to if we have to. Unlike some countries... You can't deny that we need to keep Iran from obtaining nukes. If we don't we are going to watch Iran get wiped off the map, and then Iran is going to sell the nukes in suitcase form to be used against, you guessed it. US, and by us I mean us here in America but also you over in Europe. So think about that. And to those saying we would get owned and we would get nuked and all this wishful thinking your part.. We have a huge missile defense shield that includes satellites in space. We can't get nuked, we can't get invaded, we are FAR superior in training, funding, weapons, missiles, the whole nine yards. And against an enemy like China, we can add the little cherry on top by immediately halting purchase of their happy meal toys, thus ruining them economically as well. Like it or not we're pretty much invincible. Luckily for you, your little paranoia about how we feel we need to invade everyone and how we hate everyone is only in your head. We didn't ask for war but that's what we've somehow ended up with. Second, no anyone that knows anything knows we can't just do that, and if you don't believe me you should look up the statistics of how many countries we actually have "invaded", what we spent and what the casualties were. I understand the war in Iraq bothers you to no end but I'm guessing you're not there so you don't really have to worry about it.
