Calamity Jane	You can forget speculation, if Iran invaded Israel then Iran would be nuked into a large crater. The whole world could be gone in a flash because they could'nt accept a small country called Israel. Perhaps the blinding flash of the world coming to an end has no horror for them as they believe they will be martyrs and it is Allah's will. The west in comparison would believe that they were doing the right thing in saving the world from the reign of terror supplied by a Middle East who has just exterminated the Jews. First the jews then the christians then all the other religions of the world. Which middle eastern country chastised Iraq when Saddam exterminated most of the Kurds, which Arab country came to the rescue of the Kurds...none! Brave they are not! Was this answer helpful to you? ?	Religious and secular violence in Iraq degenerates conditions into a civil war . Iraq is partitioned into 3 pieces allied with their tangent countries - Kurds w/ Turkey (NATO). Southwestern Iraq with the Saudis and Central and northeastern Iraq with Iran.Iran invades Kurdistan and slaughters the Kurds, annexes the territory and now shares a border with Syria. The millions of Palestinian refugees in Jordan riot and overrun the country deposing the King and giving Hamas complete control of Jordan and Iran access thru Syria and Jordan to the Golan Heights. The Americans during all of this have quietly reinforced and armed the Saudis on the South in order to protect the last friendly oil producing friend that they have. The Russians have Iran's back on the North . NATO forces from Europe are deployed to Turkey. L'il Kim in North Korea decides no one is paying attention to him and he invades the South. China decides the time is right to take back Taiwan. Chavez and Castro invade Florida and Kim throws a nuke at the Chinese and American Fleets in the Formosa straights, both sides thinking the other did it. Hillary decides she doesn't want anything to do with this and goes to her mansion at the White River Estates in Arkansas after she yields Presidential power to a military junta led by 5 Star General Norman Schwartzkopf and former UN Ambassador John Bolton. quiet	Americans have become a tad grandiose about the whole terrorism business depicting it as some epic struggle or 'World War 3'. All the War on Terror really boils down to are a few thousand radical camel-jockeys using guerilla tactics and improvised explosives. I don't think WW3 will happen, or at least I hope not. If there were ever tensions enough to start a global war again then there would undoubtedly by nuclear weaponry involved. I think Albert Einstein summed this up best: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones" Was this answer helpful to you? supratuner9	well, definantly israel will be in the center but that area should be smarter than to attack israel, giving the beating that they have recieved in the past from israel alone. but also north korea will probably get too big an ego and be out quicker than italy from ww 2 and china will most likely be in it and if israel is attacked you can bet your life the U.S. will be in there inside 2 days Was this answer helpful to you? iraq51	Interesting opinion. Unfortunately I've never read anything indicating Syria has nukes or even a sustainable nuclear power program allowing uranium enrichment...plus they lack any significant delivery system. As for NATO..that stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization and I am not positive but it would indicate that it has no binding treaties to assist any country outside the NATO membership...and no Arab country,Iran or Israel is a member. JAREAD	WW3 has been going on ever since the Korean War. Hey, Police actions are still wars. First Korea, then Viet Namn and Bosnia. The fighting has never stopped, because the people of the world are all whacko. You are right about Israel; but when you say Israel, your are saying the U.S. Same thing. Until each country wakes and looks at whats going on and come to their senses, then we will stay on that road to destruction until we as mankind and all life on this planet, are totally annihilated. Jimmy P	It won't happen until superpowers are ready to fight against each other. Even if the middle east erupts in all out war and the US becomes involved, i don't see another major power opposing the US. In the case of WWI and WWII, the powers were geographically next to each other, so they had to bang heads if they tried to expand. If the US and another superpower are going to butt heads, it will be in the middle of the ocean, and not soon. caughtin2minds	Thanks to radicals like Osama Bin Laden, the world is increasingly getting polarized. But WW3 is a remote possibility because any sensible soul on earth is aware of the devastation that a third war could bring about. Iran, North Korea may have nuclear intentions, but they cannot stand up to the high and mighty of the world, not for long at least. And terrorists are best with gorrilla warfare in the tribal areas of Iraq, Afghanistan and alike. Either immediately or sometime in the near future, the war will get hotter and hotter until it explodes into a real bombing and strafing of one of the three blocs of people: the free-and-open, the religious-and-closed, or the dominated-and-controlled. Depending upon which one of the three blocs manages to merge with one of the other two will determine the eventual outcome Then the two "victors" blocs will confront each other for the world domination position. Charly B	This may cause a regional war but I don't think this would cause a world war unless someone made a grab for the oil.A much greater threat of WW3 seems to me to be the meteoric rise of the Chinese economy.Suddenly all the worlds resources are being diverted which will put China in a very strong position in the coming decades.A move on taiwan by China , or an all out invasion of Korea may be the cause of our demise. Forscythe	Oil and Water isnt as big of a deal as its made out to be. The US has more then enough oil from ourselves and other allies to survive another 80-90 years. David	I am a Christian and what I've read in the bible says.. that there will be war in the Israel towards the end times... and guess what there's war in Israel and if Iran, Syria invade... and if they all nuke each other with the NATO there you've got them involved and with the way things are going with the United States they'll end up being part of it.. And with NATO there you'll have the European country's involved and possibly Canada considering were already in Afghanistan and if the Americans and European country's need help I've a feeling will be sent over... maybe not but there's a good chance (I'm Canadian) So now we have a big war in the Middle East with all the Middle Eastern countries involved. We'll have United Nations calling for ceasefires. NATO will be there... and whatever countries are part of NATO will defiantly have something to do with this war. So now we have United States, Canada, Europe, all fighting in the Middle East. That’s already like half the world. Now... on the other side of the world we have China and North Korea. With the rest of the world busy in the Middle East they'll be too occupied to deal with China and North Korea... North Korea has been developing Super/Nuclear weapons just like Iran. The USA tell Iran to stop developing these but not North Korea, now why would they tell Iran to stop and not North Korea you ask? Well North Korea has China standing behind them... if the half the world is already fighting in the middle east now is North Koreas chance to attack South Korea, and if China helps them then South Korea will surely fall. Now you have two powerful countries in East Asia who could easily take all of it if they wanted to... and with the United States in debt to China... what's stopping them from going over seas to the USA... I bet with the amount the USA owes China from Bush’s war for oil China could take part of the USA... and USA wont be able to do nothing because they are in debt... and if they do what army will there be left if most of them are in the middle east.. Well they have the Army down by the Mexican boarder... If Mexico wants to get involved then they'd end up maybe helping China and North Korea, but this is all theory... China and North Korea may or may not do anything they might even just try and take all of Asia. Hmmm I forgot about Russia... well they either will end up joining up with China or going against... so now we have war is Asia and Middle East... and if my China, North Korea theory happened' then we have war pretty much all over the world... but in the end if something were to happen I think it would be something like that. Hmm now we also have "terrorists" attacking Brattain and the united states... well I'm sure by now the USA alone has killed more in the middle east then those terrorists have killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack hmmm terrorists kill approximately 3000 people at World Trade Center.. Well that's nothing... and you might be wondering what I'm talking about, you might think I've know heart for those lost during 9/11 well I do... since 9/11 over 40 000 civilians have died in Iraq alone, now that's just Iraq... adding the deaths of the American soldiers and everyone else would add thousands more. More has been lost then people think. If you think about it, the United States is causing terror in the Middle East. This is George Bush's war... why do you Americans support him?! Impeach him already! Blood for Oil is it worth it... Just think about the ones are who've gained from these "terrorist" attacks on the USA... well George Bush gained... and so did the oil companies.. With the USA in the Middle East they can get the oil... George Bush used the Patriot Act to gain more control over the United States then he'd normally have... you give him the right to invade your privacy? For all you know it was the Bush administration that organized these so called "terrorist" attacks, you Americans have got to wake up and think... think about what is happening... You now no longer have the right to bring liquid onto a plain?! What is that!! That’s just messed up. You can't bring liquids onto the plain yourself and they check you before you go on okay fine... but then you can still bring it on in your suit case?!... Hmmmm if someone really wanted to blow up the plain they'd put a liquid bomb in there main bag and it wouldn't even be checked!!! And if it was it would be checked at random... like seriously its stupid isn't it? I the American government is trying to scare Americans into giving up there own rights!!! And it's working so far... you Americans got to wake up and do something about this!!! If nothing is done soon then this war will be almost inevitable... and I think if WW3 is to happen that it will be with-in my life time and it's a war my generation will have to fight... I quote Herbert Hoover "Older men declare war. But it is the youth that must fight and die. " When I first read this quote I thought of my future and what could happen. When I watch and read the news and hear about all these wars around the world, when I'm in school learning about wars of the past, when I watch those World War 2 movies, when I hear old stories of how men fought in the past... when war is on my mind I can't help but wonder how long it'll be before this World War 3 starts. One of my greatest fears is having to fight a war that was started by some old guys who couldn't think of any other way to work things out, and because of some old guys who couldn't solve a few problems the youth/my generation will have to fight. During World War 2 young Russian men were forced to fight... given nothing but a rifle and 5 bullets they sent untrained young men to fight for every square foot of land... they dare not turn back for fear of being killed by there own leaders they had no choice but to fight the German forces.. It was death either way. Watch the movie "Enemy at the Gates" it explains the battle of Stalingrad and you'll see why I fear a 3rd World War. Maybe something like this won't happen again... but if it happened before then it could just as easily happen again... Were real close to having a possible World War 3...
