kiwaku	They were not little children, they were teenagers. And the weren't dying of thirst or hunger as they had just been apprehended. It is hard to watch such a thing happen, but it is a time of war, and those teens were throwing things at the soldiers. That is something that they know was wrong. I think the thing that bothered me the most of the whole video was the commentator--- he was truly evil. I have a site here that everyone needs to see. raminangel	There are bad people and then there are the good. You can't filter out all the bad because everyone wants to liked and so everyone true self does not' t always surface right away. The military tries the best that they can to filter out the bad seeds or change it so they are no longer a "bad seed" but some are missed and nobody is perfect. Those soldiers are probably getting disciplined. Right now everyone is obsessed with fame and there is so much stupid sh** on you tube. One video shouldn't speak for all soldiers and if you think that all our soldiers are all like that then you have some problems you need to work out we don't live in a perfect world and if we did we would all be sitting in a Walgreen's commercial. randy_plrm	I don't think that the clip told the whole story. If you were over there in the military you would learn that often the little Iraqi children are carrying suicide bombs in order to kill our soldiers and must be dealt with accordingly. So far we have lost over 4,100 of our soldiers and Marines in that country as well as thousands more seriously wounded. You sound like someone who is not in touch with reality. I urge you to do yourself a favor and start learning what is really going on over there. War is not pretty. Many people die; both the military personnel and the innocent civilians. But that's the way it is. Just remember these brave soldiers and Marines have put their lives on the line so that you can cross your arms in anger and turn your head. GET A LIFE!!!! Heck, you can make a difference if you were there and told them to stop it. 2:You have no clue what the situation is like. One day I can help by rebuilding a school and the kids love us. The next day those same kids are tossing rocks at my HMMWV (Humvee). 3: Those are British soldiers. 4:Part of having an college education is having the ability to research the information, make a critical analysis, question it, research it again, then question it some more. If you assume that this is all we do then you failed and the college failed you. When you can compile it together and put it in APA format you can get your MA. If you assume that this is all we do then you failed and your education had failed you. You can form a judgment when you get a PhD. Lynn L	Not all military are like that. I am an Army wife and mother in law and proud of it. There are bad people in all different places, whether police, soldiers, judges etc.... We are doing what we have to over there. My son in law was almost killed protecting this country last year and now this year he is in Afghanistan. RekonDog	Pretty shocking to see...not sure why the Brits would do such a thing. If they're lives were at sake, then I would also beat the kids to submissions (kids can operate weapons too!). Not sure what the reason was, but it wasn't nice to see. To let you know, American troops DO NOT act this way, if I ever witnessed it by one of my men, I would punish my Marine deliberately. We servicemembers in the US have a thing called military courtesy and customs and we have high morals and ethics, its a disgrace to the uniform if actions like the exists. I respect the British military, because I for one is english too, and served side-by-side with the 42 Commandos of the Royal Marines. But as we don't know, maybe there was something missing in the video, what did those children do to provoke the british soldiers to do that. rsl1489	I suppose the only thing I can say is there are in fact POS's in the military just as well as anywhere else. It is unfortunate but please dont believe all of our troops or even the majority of them are this way. sean	i watched the video 1. those are not American soldiers. 2. they are British soldier's , you can tell by the uniforms. 3. different Army's have different reg's 4. you can tell who is Iraqi Army by their weapons i.e. m-16's and AK-47,AK-74 British soldiers use HK,s also Iraqi soldiers wear the uniform of the foreign unit they are under , so as my Navy vet grandad would say the devil is in the details. 5. you cant see what those Iraqi's did to be detained . 6. Under UCMJ American soldiers cannot abuse detainees, remember Abu Gahrib. those troops are in prison and are also out of the service with a dishonarble discharge. Grampa D	I spent 22 1/2 years in the Army and never seen a Military member hurt or scare a child.. But I have seen hundreds of them give these kids their gum , their C rations and MRE's.. I seen them give their hats and Blankets. I watch a Soldier cry when a child got ran over by a truck and he was angry for days after. You are telling story or those videos you watch was a put on or make up... No matter were you go there are bad eggs. but each soldier polices his follow soldier. EDIT: I watched the video, and it would have been nice to mention that they were British troops, not American...and I don't refuse your peace with my guns, I embrace it with them. I've never been hunting and I've never even pointed any of my firearms at anyone at any time for any reason (not that either of those things constitutes a breach of peace, but I no that that's what you perceive them to be).
