whats the point in getting married and comitting if you dont respect them?
I like to think my body is for my husband and no one else. If i used my body parts on another man he would feel like i have been dishonest and feel he cant trust and touch me again.
Its about sharing yourself with other people once you have made a comitment- otherwise if you are going to cheat whats the point in telling the other half you love them or want to be with them.
If you cant understand that, i dont think you'll get far with a love life

What is wrong with cheating on a test? What is wrong with hitting a stranger? What is wrong with shoplifting? Whether it be legally, morally, religiously or whatever, we consider these things to be wrong as well. Cheating is breaking the ultimate vow that you take when you get married. You are pledging to love that person, and become one until death do you part. Not "Well, I might love you today, but I might love the gardener tomorrow." it's all or nothing. If you want to sleep around, don't get married, just stay single and do what you need to do. Or, find someone who feels the same way as you and go ahead and you can both do it....as messed up as that is.

'cheat': to break the rules, to break confidence, to gain unfair advantage, to disprove trustworthiness, to knowingly do wrong, to choose to demonstrate unkindness, to insult, to deliberately dishonor a person previously granted a place of honor, to devaluate oneself and others involved...
I could go on...

if you were in a serious relationship and you really cared about them and couldn't get them out of your head, would you like to find out that they were with someone else the whole time and just "double dipping" ? yuck !
in short, you wouldn't like someone cheating on you would you !?

Because it can deeply hurt the person being cheated on. If someone you love is hurt, then it should hurt you too. Ultimately you are hurting yourself.

It's dishonest. It goes against everything that a marriage union is supposed to represent. Doesn't mean I haven't done it but at least I know it's wrong.

You have violated your vows. What's the point in marraige if you're going to cheat? You promised to be faithful and were not which means you lied. You have dishonored the trust. You might as well be single instead. It keeps the diseases away from the ones who are faithful and lets you run free like a wild animal.

The reason you get MARRIED is to be committed to ONLY each other, not every Tom, Dick and Harry.
If one wants to be with others then don't get married!

I would assume it's because you have both taken vows that exclude all others. And if you have no intention of doing so,then you should have the decency to tell the other person so,not just go along with it and live a lie.

Unless you are swingers to have an open marriage, you pledge your loyalty to your spouse alone when you take those vows.

You must be joking?!?!?! Cheating inside of a marriage is wrong because you have made a commitment to each other that the two of you will love, support, honor, cherish, respect and be the only two lovers in each other's life.

When you get married, you make a promise to always be faithfull to the other and you give yourself to them emotionally and physically. It's supposed to be a life long promise/bond to one another that shouldnt be broken. I consider my marriage very sacred, and I would never do anything to betray my husband's trust, like cheating on him. I gave myself to him and him alone, forever.
