Should i hate my husband or the waitress??
Last night we went out to a restaurant with the 4 kids and the waitress knew that i was with my DH, she ignored me the whole time, but my husband got asked 3 times if he needed something then to top things off she got the nerve to ask if 1 bill or 2 bill...on top of that she was acting so stupid with me saying <OH it's all his kids?> Like come on!! Is she serious? This morning after the kids went to school, we went for breakfest, husband was reading his Horoscope, stupid waitress looked and ask what sign he was then had to mention that her kid was the same sign, then asked him if he needed water and never even brough me water, then laughed with my DH and touched 2 times his arm. I was soo pised that i started to act very bitchy with her she then got the message and backed off..and my DH was just sitting there laughing at the whole situation, enjoying was just happened.14 Years with him, and this last year i hafe to deal with woman filrting with him. What is it??
Additional Details
This is 2 different restaurants with 2 different waitress and it has happened before also in other places!!! Is he sending signals that <Hey it's ok filrt with me??> I never even let another men firlt with me and they know they should not!! I am also very pretty, smilly and sweet but this last year has been terrible with other woman firlting with Husband. My husband never needed to complain once in 14 years about another men firlting with me. He's became a Girlmagnet!! I wrote today a list of things this last year and there is 34 differents girls on the paper? And he agree's with me that each situation the girls were being bitchy with me and firting with him. And then he says to me that situations like this only happens when i'm with him. What is it? They are jealouse that i'm with him? They want him because i'm so pretty?Or my husband is sending messages that he's interested ? I get mad and he lauph's!! I know he's not doing nothing wrong but why is all this happening?

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that. Is this the first time a flirtation like this has happened? I don't think you should specifically "hate" either of them (although, if I were you, I'd have a serious talk with the husband and let him know how you didn't think that what happened was at all funny). Perhaps you shouldn't go to that restaurant again for a while, just because the situation needs time to cool down.

Your husband should have told the waitress where he place was and defended you. The waitress was obviously trying to be-little you and steal your husband. I would never go to that restaurant again, because it is making you look stupid to have her totally ignore you and flirt with your husband.

It's not your husband's fault really. Obviously you have a desirable husband, but hate the waitress - it's out of line for her to be flirting with him like that. Talk to your husband about it, complain about her, and let him know that it annoys you that she's flirting with him. He's probably enjoying it, but he's only human... Next time, make sure he reacts negatively so she'll get the message for sure.

This has happened to me, too, and I think it is really rude - ON THE WAITRESS' part!

What your husband should do is say, "I think my WIFE would like some more iced-tea" or whatever....This would let them know that they are treading on thin ice!

Hate the waitress. She was insolent and disrespectful. Don't hate your husband, the fact that he didn't respond and even laughed about the situation is a sign of strength of his faith in your marriage. She was just a whore.

You shouldn't hate your husband 'cause from what I read, he never flirted back which is a very good thing. If he did start to flirt back then you should go and have a talk with him about it.

Your hubby is flattered...what do you expect him to do. Its up to the customer to make sure a server is doing their job. Obviously you have a cute/interesting hubby ...you too should be flattered because he is after all YOUR hubby.

The waitress should be reported to the manager. Her behavior is COMPLETELY inappropriate.

Your husband was doing the correct thing by ignoring her "advances" with the assumption that doing anything would only cause her to further her advances.

So hate the sl*t waitress enough to report her. It'll probably get her fired, but who really cares?

Oh, and should this sort of thing EVER happen again, SPEAK UP! Don't just sit there like a lump on a log...SAY SOMETHING. If she (or anyone) is going to be THAT rude, you have every right to put their stupid asses in their place!

Typical man. They love attention from women no matter who's around. I don't blame you at all. I would be pissed and give her attitude too if she was acting like that to my man, too. That's why I can never get along with women. I have so many guy friends, prefer not to talk to girls. Alot of them seem to throw themselves on guys, and just act so slutty and bitchy. This waitress sounds like a bimbo, and I would say was definitely trying 2 play stupid!

Skeptic
I suspect this waitress is rather inept and flirting for a good tip. No woman in her right mind would try to steal a man with 4 kids. That's a lot of baggage.

Since you don't describe your husband's actions, it's hard to know whether he is partially responsible or a victim. Clearly, the waitress was not providing you with good customer service. I hope that you didn't tip her well.

Guys eat that sort of stuff up! If you'd acted like it didn't bother you a bit, she would have backed off and he wouldn't have had the satisfaction of seeing your jealous rage.

you should hate the waitress. Maybe you should start going to a different restaurant. It doesn't sound like your husband provoked this attention in any way. The waitress was out of line.

tell her very politely that if she talks to him again, you'll break her nose.

or you could talk to her boss about not paying attention to you. or go to a different section so you have a different waiter.

You shouldn't hate him, he didn't do anything wrong. And if you dont want to deal with the waitress eat somewhere else. and let the restarant management know why you will not be returning.

You should not hate the husband or the waitress. When you don't show anger and say something charming as a response, it makes you look more beautiful, mysterious, and sophisticated. For example, if a waitress flirts with you husband tell her: " Thank you for finding my husband so attractive, but will you get me a glass ice with a slice of lemon and lime please. "It will throw her off and let her know that he is YOUR husband. If she acts ugly about it, tell her that in a nice voice that what she is doing is very unprofessional and refuse to leave her a tip. Report her to a manager in a discreet way.

I had a drop dead gorgeous boyfriend, who girls flirted with in front of my face. Even one of my so called best friends ( I didn't consider her a best friend though) tried to steal him behind my back.

Whenever a girl would flirt with him in front of me be it waitress, so-called friend, or cashier, I would just smile and give them this sweet look that said I know what you are doing but he is mine. He would tell me: "That girl just flirted with me!"
I would say: "That's great. She can look and admire you, but she can't have you." I always encouraged him to use this power he had over women and his looks as a way to get out of a small nowhere town - to become a model since he was so tall and well defined. It turns out he was too afraid to get out of small town and leave his friends. He ended up marrying a trophy wife and staying there.
