Answer Girl To The Rescue	She probably doesn't look at you the same anymore either. There is an intense pain that comes with watching your signifigant other suffer and as a woman there isn't much we can do to protect a man. She probably feels that your manhood has been compromised and doesn't want you to feel like she thinks less of you. She may have felt that by doing something to help you, you'd be unhappy with her protecting you. You should talk to her about this. It's probably beating her up inside more than you know. cool dude	Well, She must have been in shock... Not her fault. How can you blame her for not helping with you or going in to some kind of fight or flight mode? We can all assume under different circumstance we would have done something different, but as you know... what you expected didn't come out the way you thought it would. They kill all the defending men and cart off the women and maybe the children. A month later, while they’re loyal husbands are rotting in their graves, where are the women? Sitting cooking and chatting with their new friends, the women of their new village, and making babies with their new husbands. If you think about it it makes perfect sense. What else could they do anyway? It insures the next generation will survive. If it worked any other way we would quickly go extinct. My points are; There is no circumstance under which a woman will naturally sacrifice herself for you. They can get over you and move on in a heart beat. Men are evolved to sacrifice themselves for women, children or tribe. Women are evolved to only make great sacrifice for themselves and children, not men. You are an expendable tool. You are there to serve their purpose and you can be replaced. This is the way it is in almost all social animals. It's natural for her not to get involved, and women have a very different sense of loyalty than men. The problem for men comes in that we are expected to 'let them be women', but we're no longer allowed to 'be men.' We have to 'behave'. That having been said she should have called the cops or done something, but her actions were in a sense perfectly natural. I'd say she may have been too much in shock to think of it or like many women she may not have realized the seriousness of it. I've noticed that women who have never been in a real fight have no clue that in real life a person can kill with a punch or a kick and that it does real damage. Their only experience with fighting is in the movies where people take punishment that would kill 100 men and then get up. When you're a guy and you got in a fight in school, the first time you got hit and saw stars you realized it's not that way. So I know it seems like she abandon you but try not to take it too personally. You might want to look for a different woman, or at least make a mental note not to expect to much loyalty or quick thinking out of this one. Sorry you had to find this out the hard way.
