Anayden	I did when i was younger and it never solved anything, but that we weren't together anymore. Now that I am married I wouldnt do it because it would be pointless. What would you accomplish by cheating too? You are grown and should be able to talk it out, now being able to trust that cheating person is going to be a problem now though. That is the real question. Can your trust come back? Can you let it go? If you answer no to both of thoes questions then you need to seperate and break it off because love is just going to crumble just wondering if he/she just say they are going to go to the store. bluegirl	It would depend on the affair. If it was a one night stand I would ask why it happened (too much drink ?) not that excuses it but I wouldn't give up on a marriage just for that. If it was a long affair , say 6 months or so, then again I would need to know why it happened. Affairs don't just happen , there has to be something wrong in the relationship for them to stray. It would be harder to forgive as it is not just sex then, an affair of that length means there must be feelings involved and they must have been lying all that time. It is the lying that is hard to forgive. Revenge is OK if there is no kids involved but when you have kids you cannot be petty over it . you have to let things go ( I don't mean stay with them) but be civil with them. Know what u will loose in this marriage. Frankly i could never forgive my spouse if he ever did that cos i could always imagine them together when we are making love. and that will kill me.
