Happy-2	Essentially, you're saying that you stole your wife's property because she hit you. I think you have some serious communication issues. I suspect your "complaining" involved raised voices and lots of F-words, because nobody slaps someone for a simple complaint. Obviously, you should not have to live with a cat disrupting your life and she needs to understand your right to a peaceful nights sleep and that you are not in love with the cat as she is, and that is ok. Remind her that your marriage is WAY more important than any animal. You must come up with a truce of sorts. Offer to go look for the cat or to get another one with agreement that the animal will not be more important than you are and will be kept outside of the bedroom or even in an animal crate for sleeping if necessary.
