jinxy84	I think if you find out her favorite place or a place she has always wanted to go. Go there early if possible and tell them what you are upto and hide the ring somewhere. heitk1le	I've always thought if you have to do it up big, then you're missing the point. Your girlfriend may not feel the same way, but for me it would be enough just to pop the question at the end of a nice evening out. Again, you know your girlfriend better than I do, but I'm not even sure I'd have a ring ready unless you really know her taste in jewlery. foursquaremommy	Here is the ultimate way, and I know because this is how my husband proposed to me! He invited me out to dinner and movies. We went to Chinese food and (he obviously planned it out) and when they brought the fortune cookies at the end of the meal I opened my fortune cookie and the inside said "Will You Marry Me?" It was awesome! He told me later that he had planned it and had actually put the proposal in both cookies because he didn't know which one I would pick and then when he went up to the front desk to supposedly pay he asked the hostess to serve the special cookies and told them why. I figured out later that was why all of them had come out of the kitchen to look at us...LOL but it was awesome and totally unexpected! If you are going to do it romantically, I would suggest that you take her to her favorite restaurant and have the ring that you bought her on her dessert. If she doesn't have a favorite restaurant you could always take her to the place that the two of you met and propose there. If it is going to be an all of a sudden type thing, I would do it when the two of you are out with each others family during dinner.
