Pre employment drug test, take two controlled substances that will show up?

I was prescribed a benzodiazapam and an opiate analgestic, which will show up on my test. I was prescribed it two days before I was hired, I am sure my test will be positive for the two drugs on the 5 panel test. I was informing the tester that I took them they said they didnt want to hear it and did not even want to see the bottle. They said if I have drugs in my system they will notifiy my employer and go from there and i will most likely have to "come back in". what does taht even mean, I start on monday, can they refuse to hire me once they are called that I was positive for drugs even though they are prescribed? I am very worried, i had to interview 6 times with this company and i need the job terribly.

also, the last job I got an offer for they refused me the day before i started work because I had a class C misd (disorderly conduct), they said that this could be construed as violence, even though it was actually a class b of something else, also non violent that was reduced to a class c and called disorderly conduct, because i got in an arguement in public with my girlfriend and a cop wrote me a ticket! is that even legal??? please help with both issues, i am having lots of problems lol

whatevr that means, this car dealership did not care about my misd, i jsut dont want this drug screening agency to call them adn say i have what they might think is HEROINE and xanax in my system, when its my back pain med and my anti panic attack medication due to not being able to get a job!

Call up your potential employer and speak to the manager/supervisor in charge. Tell them you have 2 prescription meds that are considered legal narcotics. And that you took them before your test so you think you need another test. Tell them that you can bring the bottles in to show them it is a legal prescription.
The key is talk to the EMPLOYER not the testing center.

If you have legally prescribed medications, a reputable drug screening agency should be able to differentiate them from the types of drugs that are normally detected on a panel. I've known others that had hair sample drug tests while taking klonopin, ativan, xanax, etc and this did not show on those tests. I think it depends on the type of drugs the panel is being used for.
Regarding part II of your question, let me be very clear..ANYTHING charged in a criminal court can be used against you. Employers can use that as the number one reason not to hire you. Also, disorderly conduct is a "catch-all" offense for someone who is out in public causing some type of scene. This could be anything from standing in front of a store talking too loud on your cell-phone to screaming too loud that your favorite team won a game. Is it fair? Not really. Depends on where you were, and what the neighborhood is like.
I hope you get the job, but please understand the reasons you may not. Employers are more concerned about being sued than to hire someone who may cause them risk. It's not really anything about you, it's for their protection.
