Nope. Where I work the technicians are required to wear uniforms supplied by G&K Services. There are lockers but they are provided by G&K for uniform pick-up only, not personal belongings. The techs are expected to show up already in uniform.

No, it isn't. The employers probably just expect the employees to show up in their uniforms. They're not required to provide a place to change or a place for employees to keep their things. Most larger companies do as a benefit or courtesy to employees, but they're not required to.

In California, manufacturers, printing companies etc. they do not have to have a changing room, or lockers. The employees come to work with the uniform on, and go home with the uniform on.

If they want to change after work, they can do so. in the bathroom.

Most companies will provide a cleaning service for a fee every week.
They pick up the dirty uniforms and bring you clean ones. all uniforms have the name of the employee (eg. the shirt will have the name by the pocket).

The only people that have changing rooms, lockers and showers are the big executives. Or if the company provides the employees with a gym.

To answer your question. NO it is not mandatory to have changing rooms and/or lockers.
