go to college and get a degree in law. it depends on who hires you out of school that determines your specialty. you could become a guardian ad litem-they're like a 3rd person who represents children in family law cases. or you could become a politician and represents your communities best interests.

Become a J.C.O. My husband is a Sergent at a Juvenile Corrections facility also known as juvenile prison. It's a good start and pays better that a police officer and it puts your foot in the door--you can become a cop, Fed. officer, Fed. probation officer and so forth. The facility will even pay for your training to become a counselor. Wide variety to -kids, community and law. Good luck

A career that helps kids and your community will not pay a lot of money. Enroll in law school. At some point you will have sufficient funds to help kids and your community.

I say go to college and branch out from there they offer guidance counselors so that will be the best route to go
