No. If they don't want to hire you because of your phone and the fact you can't spell, they have the right.

No, you probably did not get hired because you don't know how to spell...

You have no grounds for sueing. Plus you first need to learn how to spell. It's "hired" not "hire" and it's "employer" not "imployor"

no, now if you were hired and he fired you because of it, then yes,

Haha no. If I had an applicant with a silly ringtone, that would imply an unprofessional attitude, especially if you're using that silly ringtone phone on the job. Ringtones are for kids.

That was just an excuse, the real reason was your grammar, spellling and punctuation.

No. Obviously, the ring tone was deemed offensive. Ring tone discrimination is not protected by law. I'd change my ring tone and improve on my communication skills.

Nope... you were never employed by them... they have a choice whether to or not hire you.

im pretty sure its not the ringtone dear.

ring tone holders is not a protected class of people. so no, there is no legal action you can take against the employer. they dont have to hire anyone that they dont want to.

No.

And I don't know about everyone thinking they have legal recourse for the reason they're fired, but it says pretty plainly on a VA application that they can fire you for whatever reason they want.

What? Did you let your phone ring during a job interview? How would the prospective employer know about your ring tone.

If you let your phone ring during a job interview I wouldn't hire you either, no matter what your ring tone is.

perhaps it was not the ring tone. your atrocious spelling and grammar may have something to do with it.

So what is the long and short of this question? I surmise you were in an interview and your cell phone rang and the interviewer did not like the interuption or the tonality of the sound? What are you going to do, sue them because they did not like you? And why would you WANT to work with someone you brought legal suits against? They wouldn't like you any better for it. Move on.

No, having a stupid ring tone is not a protected class.

You being stupid and having an inappropriate ring tone is a perfectly valid reason not to hire you.

Maybe it's because they read your spelling on the application...

Use spell checker...it's free and it's just sitting there waiting to help you.
