Big Bro	Depends on the employer, the job and the approach they take when scheduling Interviews. If they book an entire day for interviews and you call the day before (or the day of) to say you forgot you had an exam, the employer may wonder whether you're organized enough to fill the job you are applying for. In some cases it may not be worth it from an employers standpoint (i.e. if they have 50 applicants you'll either be tossed from the Resume pile or go back to the bottom. Hiring is not a science, its all about reading the individual and drawing details from their past experiences and habits. Even if they do agree to reschedule, you're already under EXTRA scrutiny for the short notice and by doing you a favor in rescheduling. IF I rescheduled you I would likely ask how you did on your exam. If you did well it would work to regain confidence, if you didn't, the hill just got steeper. Either way good luck. alecs	Yes, most of the time they wont call you back, because they think you are not taking them seriously, though there are companies that are understanding and will be willing to re-schedule your interview if you gave them a valid reason. However, valid reason, differs from one company to another and their needs to fill up the position. Go ahead and request that your interview be re-scheduled, if they agreed then you have nothing to lose but if they do not agree, then, I suggest that you move on and look for another job. Your studies is more important at this point in your life because this is for your self advancement and future career, as you said it is mandatory, meaning you know your priority.
