About getting "Fired"?
If a person has been fired from at least 3 places of employment (for the same type of work), what are the chances of the next employer trusting that person again?.

It depends on the type of job and your definition of "fired".

People who work in the entertainment business are routinely laid off at the end of a show ... is that firing?

Pretty much ALL of their jobs end that way.

Very low. As a hiring manager, I would rather hire someone with no experience than someone who keeps getting fired. It seems that there may be a problem and this person is not learning from his/her experiences.

If I were in charge of hiring, I'd be very leery of hiring someone who had been fired from three other jobs. They'd have to have a very good explanation of what happened and why it wouldn't happen again for me to even consider them seriously.

Depends on the time spent with those employers. If it's weeks, it's not worth my time & the company's expense to train the person. If it's years, whole new ballpark. If someone couldn't work due to health issues & so on, it makes a difference. Good luck. Hope this helped.

I believe in second chances a fourth time, so keep trying and be good and on time and you will get out of this rut.

Depends on what type of work you was doing, to get fired for.
Since you are using the word "trust." It has to be "earned."

You might do okay if the employer is unsophisticated and fails to check references, but my suggestion would be to look into a different line of work. If you have been fired 3 times for the same type of work, you might do much better in another profession.

it all depends on the context.
i would concentrate on getting some good references from somebody! that can make all the difference.

Well it depends why they got fired. But 3 times is kinda bad because it is indicitive of a problem with the person. You can understand one time because the employer might have been unfair, but 3x shows that it is most likely the employee being bad. So try for a job, it will be harder, but this time make sure you keep it, and then it will be good for your record.
