Respect for the sacredness of human life, especially innocent human life. The right to life is the most basic human right because without it there can be no other rights.

I don't like to gossip about or listen to gossip about other people. I've always been that way. I also stand by what I say.

Being honest is my biggest value. If you are not honest you can not be trusted and I want to be a trusted person. I hear be talking all of the time telling stories and you ask who you hear it from and they tell you and you think to your self "well you really cann't trust what they say." I don't want anyone to think that about me. I am honest with people I don't even know. I don't believe in "white lies" either. With me the truth comes out good or bad.

I like to treat others the way Iwould like to be treated. It seems these days that common courtesy is not as comon as it should be. iwant to be the one to extend that principle to others. even if it is not returned, at least I put it out there on my behalf. Ifeel that I'm a "work in progress", I'm trying to build myself into a more honrst person who is not afraid to speak up for herself.

Honesty is the most important moral value. Without it you cannot stick to any other moral values. You have to be able to be honest with yourself and with others or else the rest of it goes right down the toilet.
After that comes dependability (or commitment). If you give your word for something, you have to mean it and stick by it.
I am, by no means, a paragon of virtue, but I keep trying. God does not expect perfection from us, but sincere effort to improve ourselves so that we can be closer to Him. But for now, I am just human, and I make mistakes and wrong choices. I just keep trying not to make the same mistakes over and over again, and to atone for the ones that I do make.

Although I fall so short of it, my most important personal moral value is to live a life as closely aligned to Christ my Savior.

I have learned that the most important personal moral for myself is to never judge others, and to never think of myself as being a better person than anyone else for whatever reason. I have been "humblized". That old saying; "what goes around comes around" - I believe with all my heart. Lessons WILL be taught and lessons WILL be learned, one way or another. I used to say about some people (years ago); "I would never do that" or "isn't that awful what so & so has done" ... you know the general "I am so much better" attitude. Well, never again. A person never knows what the future holds, so feeling superior and judging people is not an option for me because I've found myself doing some of those things & then becoming exactly like some of those people I used to talk about, now I'm sure I've become the subject of much gossip. Moral development? I think I'm up there somewhere towards the top of the chart. I hope so anyway, I've worked at it. I'll bet you are too. But I do not claim to be moral 100%, I'm a sinner for sure but I pray every day for us all. I like your questions, thanks for this one. Reading the answers will be interesting. kimsss717@yahoo.com
